How much does a tasting cost?

I offer wedding cake tastings to couples free of charge. If we can work to find a flavor you love, then it is all worth it in the end! I will contact the couple and they can choose anywhere from 4-6 different flavors to try.

All tasting flavors are in cupcake form

How much is a wedding cake?

Accepted Answer

As wedding cakes can vary greatly in size, flavors, designs, etc- so does pricing! There is not a "one-size fits all" for wedding cake pricing.

After we get in contact and talk about ideas, I will be able to give you a better idea of a quote. Quotes ARE expected to change over the course of our conversations!

That being said, I do have a BASIC wedding pricing list to give you a general idea. This is NOT final and WILL change!

I am happy to work with couples at all budgets. Together, we can design and price your dream cake.

How far in advance can I book my wedding?

I have had cakes booked as far out as 16 months, and cakes booked hardly 1 week in advance. Anything is possible!

Most people do finalize a booking about 4-8 months out.

Question 4

Do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

I am more than happy to deliver wedding cakes to the venue on the day of your ceremony. This is charged based on mileage, which we can discuss when we meet!

Do you provide the cake stand? Or flowers to put on the cake?

Accepted Answer

I have provided cake stands before, at the couples expense. I can include it on your your final invoice.

A LOT of my customers like having real flowers on their cakes, and I am happy to design cakes with this is mind! This requires you to ask your florist to leave a selection of "cake flowers" for me to use. The florist typically leaves them at the venue, and when I drop the cake off, I can add them.

I do not ever drop off and leave an unfinished cake. If you want a family member or someone else to add your flowers, I will advise against it, but will stay to help make sure the process goes smoothly.

Question 6

Can you cut our cake for the guests?

If your caterer allows, I will  cut the correct number of servings for your guests for a fee (based on size of cake and travel time).

Can we freeze a tier of our cake for our anniversary?

Accepted Answer

Yes, yes, YES! Many of my customers have done this, and I have received many texts from them a year later talking about how great their cake still tastes!

You will need to let me know if you would like to freeze the top tier of your cake, and I will put it on a special board for easy removal and storage. From there, after the ceremony, just wrap it in some plastic wrap (I've even had someone use a trash bag!) and stick it in the freezer!

Move it to the fridge the night before your anniversary and wake up to some amazing wedding cake!
